Massage Therapist and Movement Therapist
I am a playful, curious and compassionate soul, inspired by practices that help us all nurture and care for ourselves, each other and the natural world more fully. In addition to loving my profession, I also enjoy gardening and getting outdoors.
In our personal lives, my partner and I have chosen to live "small" and we completed our school-bus-to-tinyhome conversion in January 2021. We have two fur babies that make our pack complete. If I were a dog I would be a golden retriever and if I were a tree I'd be a willow, happily nestled beside a river.
I believe that each person's need for care is unique to them and that his/her perspective and experience shines a valuable light on their personal health. I also believe in the necessity to integrate lifestyle medicine with modern medicine to achieve optimal health.
On your first visit, you can expect authentic listening and presence so that I may best address your current needs. I operate out of a quaint, rustic "barn-turned-therapy-pool-house" where you can feel away from it all. I will offer and explain a wide array of modalities, any and all of which we can incorporate into your session at your discretion.
If there is one thing I am here to do, it is to help alleviate others suffering through massage therapy. I came to massage on my own healing journey, having suffered significant back and shoulder injuries as a snowboarder. I then took my love for physical activities into studying movement and yoga with the "Nutritious Movement" institute and AIReal Yoga. I am also in the process of completing the "Corrective Exercise Specialist" certification with the National Association of Sports Medicine.
