About me
Hey y'all, my name is Alissa! Growing up I was a student-athlete, competing in sports year round, and I have always been obsessed with science and health. I am now a wife and mom of 3 kids, including one with special needs. As a collegiate athlete, I learned how to challenge my body, and learned what it looks like to really care for my body, or not, along the way. I earned a Bachelor of Science with honors in Molecular Biology and a Minor in Chemistry in 2010 (how is that over a decade ago?).
