I have always believed in the healing power of massage. As a competitive swimmer I massaged my teammates and they reciprocated. We improved our athletic performance and cultivated camaraderie in the exchange!
I have been practicing massage therapy for 21 years and have helped clients with athletic events, emotional trauma, serious illness, acute injury, chronic pain, and autoimmune conditions. Assisting these populations required me to develop diverse skills that could help clients feel better, heal more quickly, and get stronger.
Each session I give is customized to the individual. I believe in a good assessment/intake before a solid session so that the client gets the focused attention they are seeking.
I enjoy hiking, swimming, yoga, Pilates, music events with my husband, healthy cooking, and good books. Spending quiet time in nature restores me. I try to do this several times a week.
I also receive massage and bodywork on a consistent basis as it tunes me into what my body needs somatically.

I make sure to "first do no harm" in my practice. I am also vaccinated against Covid-19
A 10-minute assessment/intake in addition to whatever massage service they have scheduled. Also, a check-in after the session.
I recovered from a serious illness with the help of a talented energy worker and her physician husband.
