When I was born I was not breathing for several minutes. This stressful entrance onto earth put me on a path to eventually teach others why breathing is so important and to demonstrate breathing techniques that can improve the quality of life for those seeking answers.
I come from a childhood full of trauma. By the time I was 19, I had experienced neglect, abuse, teenage pregnancy, and the death of my mother.
The physical manifestations of grief and stress took a toll on my body and I felt the weight of it all on my emotions and mental state for many years. I was stuck, lost, and sad.
I can gratefully say that I am a happy, healthy, and healed human now.
I am not perfect, I am not a guru. I am just a human who comes to you with personal experience and a desire to help you feel your best again.
Proving a safe space for you to experience the practice while feeling secure and supported at all times.
Demonstration of the breathing technique and explanation of what happens to the body; physically, mentally, and emotionally as you go through the session.
Approx. 30 to 40 minutes of active breathing followed by 10-15 minutes of relaxation.
I discovered breathwork and it has been one of the most powerful tools I have found to help process everything keeping me small and stressed. I learned to find my voice, to understand who I am, and what I am here to do!
I have also found that consciously moving the body, through dance and yoga, is another extremely powerful way to help process emotions, move through the past, quiet the mind, and release the stagnant energy.
