Inspired healing. Time to unplug.
My husband Tao and I are artists that own a retreat center in Voluntown, CT called Still Waters. My husband grew up here and the property is a place of healing, nestled in 100 acres of forest on a private, 12-acre pond. Still Waters is our life's work where we host small groups to gather and connect with each other and nature. We are personally and professionally committed to a healing path for ourselves and others.
We provide peaceful surroundings and artistic, rustic accommodations for groups. Simple and comfortable lodging includes two fully-furnished cottages, a newly renovated main house and an Art & Yoga Studio for workshops and classes. Our facilities for full catering include a large dining room and full kitchen, plus many outdoor spaces for gathering.
Still Waters is the place to unplug to enjoy peace among the pines. We're a close, comfortable and local escape from hectic, modern living.
As a person in long-term recovery from alcoholism, I feel blessed to connect with many souls on a healing path. It is a gift to be of service. I practice intermittent fasting as a lifestyle and have enjoyed daily 20-24 hour fasts since December 2016. Fasting is a wonderful gateway to health and is easy to practice.
I hold a BFA in Communication Arts from Long Island University/CW Post, a Master of Arts in Conscious Evolution from The Graduate Institute, and a certificate in Holistic Health Coaching from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I coach clients individually and help group leaders plan their holistic retreats. I also design and manage the monthly R&R retreats at Still Waters.
This year, I officially launched my book, Finding Still Waters: The Art of Conscious Recovery. As I reflect and absorb all the energy around publishing that book, I realize what a gift it is that I’m able to bring my creativity into the world. I want to encourage everyone to create. Let it rise up in your being and a release it into the world. Do not hesitate. Do not hold back. Life is short and you are a beautiful expression of the universe. Please don’t waste it.
