About me
As a child, I was very in tune. Through a series of life events, I silenced that awareness for the more accepted accolades of this reality. I entered the scientific community, studied, and completed my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and went on to get a Master of Occupational Therapy. Occupational therapy seeks to help people live purposeful lives through the active engagement in meaningful and satisfying occupations (aka activities that occupy one's time).Despite this, that was not the reality I experienced when I entered the U.S. medical environment.
