I help people heal a good-looking, flexible, pain free scar after surgery or accidents and teach them how to release old, stiff, painful scars.

I fell into scar treatment after liberating a patient from her wheelchair from two simple, half-hour massages on her mastectomy scars. Scars became my specialty and as lead practitioner and manager of the Complementary Therapies Team at London Bridge Hospital, the consultants (surgeons) regularly referred patients to me. I treated both scars after surgery and also helped them to prepare for surgery, leading to better and faster healing with less complications afterwards.
I have written the book Love Your Scar, and a fully comprehensive online course, The Scar Course, will be released on November 6th, 2021. Details are on my website https://scarqueen.com, where you can also book an appointment.
My ideal patient is a person who is driven and motivated to get better. They are willing to take an active role in healing a great scar, or working to release an old painful one.
I like to empower people to play an active role in their recovery. While a scar never goes away, there is no reason for it to cause pain and restriction.
If coming in for a scar treatment, my patients can expect empathy and compassion as we release tight, painful scar tissue. The work is not always pleasant, as it can hurt, but everyone feels better afterwards, as though their skin fits better. Virtual appointments offer the same quality of care as I teach you how to handle your scar.
At the age of 15, after a young life of steroid creams and pills for eczema, my family doctor told me there was nothing more he could do to help me. So, I started experimenting with diet and homemade creams, and a passion was born. When I saw what natural therapies could do for me, I was determined to fill the gap for others who feel helpless about their condition. My current mission is to help people with scars and restore their flexibility, reduce pain, and improve their appearance.
