Dirt & Bones
I help plant-loving đą, Web-MD super sleuthers đ use herbs and nutrition to take discerning action around their chronic, recurring health issues without sacrificing their multidimensional lifestyles.
My quick âabout meâ reads: certified nutrition therapy practitioner and trained community herbalist who whole-heartedly agrees with Mary Poppins - wellness is best served with a âspoonful of sugarâ (aka fun & play)- and believes interacting with plants is a portal to deeper self-possession and living a life on fire.đĽ
Prior to Dirt & Bones, I spent hundreds of afternoons sharing tea đŤâ and support at an integrative clinic where 90% of the folks I met with had cancer and autoimmune illnesses (I later went on to write oncology nutrition curriculum).
I realized that the way society talks about health is like how we talk about Santa Claus, this thing that just mysteriously existsâŚup until it doesnât. We are at the whim of âexperts,â the fates, the weatherâŚ.â

This perspective leaves so much on the table, specifically the ⨠joy ⨠that comes from stepping into your own inner knowing around your corporeal form and learning how to shift and respond to the inevitable ebbs and flows of physically moving through lifeâŚso, I started Dirt & Bones.
Through illuminating new perspectives (with a laugh), approaching complex wellness problems with curiosity and playđź, and reveling in the range of your identity (you can love nature đ *and* Netflix đż imo), my role is to amplify and draw attention to your inner gold so you can honor, and move with, the nature of your being.
My philosophy of care is that effective care is nuanced care. Nuanced care is care that is tailored to the person - through a process of compassionate, non-judgmental, deep listening, relationship-building, and voraciously researching on behalf of your needs. It doesnât reduce to binary modals of thinking or acting but understands that each situation, each moment, requires context to fully inform the care plan.
"This was the most helpful, comprehensive health care experience I have ever had. It feels good to walk away from my meeting with clear tools, next steps and picture of what my body needs right now. The information was presented in a way that was clear and nice to look at.â â Sesalli
