This session will help you learn the basics of mindfulness meditation. I will walk you though a grounding experience to bring you to the present moment and teach you simple practices that you can use throughout your week.

How to manage difficult thoughts through Mindfulness and improved Psychological Flexibility.
This session will use Mindfulness practices to recognize how our thoughts can sometimes control our ability to enjoy the present moment. The session will focus on strategies to notice and recognize but not attach to our interfering thoughts.

Parenting Your Special Needs Child
This session will offer parents an opportunity to ask questions, seek resources, share difficulties and receive support from a Special Educator/Behavior Analyst that has experience with Advocacy.

Building Psychological Flexibility in Children
Psychological Flexibility is the ability to stay in the present moment despite feelings of anxiety, depression and other uncomfortable feelings. This session will work with a visual tool/perspective that helps to sort it all out. This session would be appropriate for children 8 and up.

Compassion Fatigue is real. This session will focus on helping those that spend their time helping others. Chronic stress, frustration and guilt take their toll on your well being. Join me to learn ways to say "no" and put you and your family first.
