Have you tried taking a yoga class and found that it just wasn't right for you? I hated yoga when I first tried it but as a person struggling with chronic pain and a resistance for pharmaceutical relief I was determined to understand why the doctors kept recommending it.
I kept trying yoga classes on and off for years. I had to modify every pose because my body just physically was not capable of following along with the instructor. This was one of the reasons I hated attending a yoga class. I didn't like to be the one always doing something else. I didn't want to offend the instructor by constantly doing something a bit different.
After many years of "trying yoga" I decide to commit myself to a regular practice. When I decided to do this I was at rock bottom. My pain was a 8/10 nearly everyday and sometimes worse. It began with just lying on my mat daily for a few minutes. Most days when I started out, that was as far as I got and I accepted that for what it was. I also celebrated my commitment to showing up for myself each day with no expectations.
Over time, maybe 6-8 weeks I truly started noticing major shifts in my life. I felt calm and managed stress more easily. I felt strong in my body and confident in my decisions. My pain had started to improve as well. I now understand the benefits of yoga beyond the poses. Let me help make yoga possible for you as well.
The purpose of this appointment is to plan and create a one on one yoga class that is ideal for your personal goals and physical abilities. We are all unique and a yoga practice must be built around the individuals needs.
After submitting your order you will get an email with a link to complete a questionnaire. From there I will get a better understanding of your needs and history to build the perfect yoga class for you. I will include a breakdown for the top 10 poses for your body/goals as well as create a personalized one on one yoga class. We will provide a written class plan with images for reference. Additional class plans are available for purchase at your request. If you choose virtual this one on one demonstration and class will be recorded for your reference as well.

Health History Review and Brainstorming session
Price includes two appointments, each 50 minutes long. During the first appointment we go through your background, likes and dislikes, past experiences, strengths, etc. and then together we identify short and long term health goals. During the second session we will co-create a S.M.A.R.T. action plan. This option is great for someone who is motivated but unsure how to get started. They are looking for some guidance on getting started and are not yet ready to commit to on-going coaching support.

Fridge/Pantry Makeover
Do you already have health and wellness goals but you are having trouble getting started? Or maybe someone in the household needs to have a major diet change like going gluten or dairy free or maybe adhering to a low FODMAP diet?
Let me help you get a jump start on cleaning out the fridge and pantry to be in alignment with those goals.
This option will include two 50 minute sessions. During the first we will identify goals and take a look at current eating habits, knowledge, lifestyle, etc. At this time I will also gather some photographs and/or videos of what is currently in the fridge/freezer and pantry (or up to 3 cabinets). During the follow up session (within 1 week from initial call) we will do a virtual call and together clean out and organize based on identified goals. I will also help you to create a personalized shopping list as well as provide some additional online resources for getting started with the new lifestyle changes.
