My name's Ben and I'm a massage therapist, sports massage therapist, and personal trainer. I came to this industry after 10 years of pursing a competitive distance running career. By the end of that career my body was failing me and I wanted to rehabilitate my own body and help other people with their own aches and pains.
I got into bodywork because it seemed really clear to me that soft tissue work was extremely effective and under- represented in a the industry. Later, I realized that movement therapy was also key to helping my clients rehabilitate and get back to 100%, so I now also incorporate movement therapy and corrective exercise for many of my clients.
There are two pillars to my practice. The first is using massage therapy to reset soft tissues that have become problematic as a result of faulty movement patterns. The second pillar is to address those faulty movement patterns through movement training so that the soft tissue work holds better.
We'll assess and treat your problematic areas, and create a game plan that will allow you to reach your goals.
