Hi there, I'm Beth. I currently support clients virtually via 1:1 yoga therapy sessions + group offerings. Reach out if you're interested!
My work combines the ancient wisdom of yoga with the modern principles of somatic psychology to support clients on their path of healing.
I work with a wide range of clients seeking more freedom in their lives. This presents in a multitude of ways—freedom from pain, addiction, anxiety, depression, insomnia, grief, fatigue, digestive problems, persistent stress, women’s wellness issues, emotional imbalance, spiritual stagnation—and the list goes on.
I was called to this path through my own healing journey. During a destabilizing bout with cancer in my late twenties, I felt so empowered and supported by the yoga therapy tools I had learned, and I knew that I must shift my career to share this healing work with my community.
I am so grateful to be doing that now.
Thorough! In our first visit, we do a detailed intake together so I can better understand where you're at physically, mentally, and emotionally. From there, I share practical tools to support you on your healing journey. These are tools that you can easily incorporate into your everyday life, starting right after our first session!
In my 1:1 yoga therapy sessions, I offer a safe space for exploration and curiosity around your internal landscape. It can look many different ways, but often involves me sharing customized meditations, postures, breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, and lifestyle recommendations to suit your unique needs. It’s a very intuitive, compassionate, and co-creative process.
Yoga therapy is often used as a complement to Western medicine and psychology, offering additional tools to holistically treat various kinds of psychological or somatic dis-ease, ranging from low back pain to emotional distress. Both the western and yogic approaches share the same understanding of the human being as an integrated body-mind system, which can function optimally only when there is a state of dynamic balance. And that is exactly what we work towards in our sessions together.
