Brainwaves Kauai LLC
The practitioners at Brainwaves Kauai LLC have been providing neurofeedback and biofeedback training to our clients for over 25 years.
Our staff consists of Valerie Holland, M,A., M.S. who is our Clinical Director and George Fritz, Ed.D. who serves as our Consulting Psychologist. While our academic training is in Psychology and Counseling we have concentrated our efforts over the past 10 years to focus exclusively on providing “cutting edge” training in neurofeedback, biofeedback, and mindfulness. It was during this time that we relocated from the East Coast to Kauai to continue our own professional and personal development. Our intention was to address a growing need for neurofeedback and biofeedback services among the residents. With the support of our new clients and community, we developed and conducted a successful and highly-respected practice from 2010 though 2019 in Hawaii. Over the past couple of years, however, we began to realize that we were moving into a new phase of both or personal and professional lives which would require returning to the Mainland and also adapting our practice to address our changing circumstances. Therefore, in February 2020, we moved to Vancouver, Washington to embark on our next chapter which has included opening Brainwaves Kauai in Vancouver, Washington and offering our services in neurofeedback and biofeedback as a mobile practice. This enables us to bring neurofeedback and biofeedback to our clients in their home. Over the years potential clients have reached out to us for our services, but they have had great difficulty scheduling or keeping appointments due to debilitating physical or emotional conditions, or fulfilling responsibilities as an employee or a caregiver. Some clients have problems securing reliable transportation. As a mobile practice, we can bring our expertise to you, on your schedule.
There is no charge for our initial visit. I refer to this session as our Meet and Greet. This visit gives our clients an opportunity to discuss their current challenges and their goals and it gives us an opportunity to discuss how we may be helpful in addressing their concerns. Based on this discussion, we can decide if it would be mutually beneficial to schedule another visit.
Many of our clients find that neurofeedback and biofeedback complement the benefits they receive from other strategies that are already using to support their mental and physical well-being. Over the years, our clients have come to view neurofeedback and biofeedback as just one more tool in their tool kit to support personal growth and development.
