Far too often I meet with men and women just like you who do not feel heard or understood by their physician. They walk away with unanswered questions, little to no solutions, or they will say it is normal or it's all in your head. I refuse to accept this and want to provide you with an opportunity to unpack and get detailed in uncovering and starting to identify the root of your symptoms and dis-ease in your body. I am not a doctor and cannot treat or diagnose, but I have ample experience with a functional approach to recovery and have the pleasure of working with a CFMP in more complex cases for your benefit.
Symptoms & Diagnoses I have has success with eliminating or reducing the severity include:
> insulin resistance, pre-diabetes, diabetes, blood sugar imbalances, hormonal imbalances, gut issues, low thyroid/ hypothyroid, autoimmune diseases (hashimotos thyroiditis, psoriasis, etc.), weight-loss, energy restoration, poor sleep habits, mental and emotional stress, anxiety, depression, connection spiritually, and more..
> chronic fatigue, excessive tiredness, lack of energy, waking up tired and unable to get moving without caffeine (whether it helps or not), sluggish, lack of motivation, procrastination, have a hard time getting through each day
> high stress, brain fog, lacking mental clarity, short-term memory loss/ forgetful, unable to ease their mind and or unable to rest, easily upset, agitated, nervous, anxiety or depression, blurred vision, headaches/ migraines, inability to concentrate
> steady or rapid weight gain, inability to lose weight no matter how clean they eat or how much they workout, do not feel comfortable in their own skin or clothes, uncomfortable being undressed or in swimsuit around loved ones or strangers, avoid mirrors and don't love the person they see in the reflection, weight mostly around mid-section or waist girth is larger than hip girth
> poor sleep, insomnia or have a hard time going to sleep, waking multiple times a night and unable to go back to sleep, tossing and turning, not feeling rested no matter how many hours they sleep, unable to shut down their brain to go to sleep, not getting deep restful sleep
> irregular bowel movements, not feeling completely voided, diarrhea, constipation, foul gas, bloating that may be food dependent or feeling lasts all day, abdominal pain or discomfort, acid reflux, bad breath, frequent urination, irregular periods
> hair-loss, dry and/or itchy skin, redness of skin, breakouts, pimples, acne, weak/brittle nails, lightheaded, shaky, jitters, heart palpitations, lightheadedness, perspire easily or with little to no exertion, facial hair growth (women)
> craving sweets or have to have sweets after a meal, lack or appetite or increase appetite, craving salt, use food to ease emotion or stress, suspect poor nutritional malabsorption, intolerant to many foods or unsure of what foods could be causing intolerance
> muscle or join pain, swelling or cramping, inward trembling, nervous or emotional, increased pulse even at rest, night sweats, cold hands - feet or all over, shallow breathing, poor muscle endurance
Although I may not be providing a lot of feedback during this session, I will be beginning to build out a general plan of care to specifically target your areas of concern and dive deep into your goals. It's important that I understand how you live your life, but your strengths and weaknesses to guide and support you in a way that is manageable yet effective.
