As a doctoral student in vocal music, I was experiencing a lot of tension, pain and anxiety. Almost ready to give up, I was recommended to an Alexander Technique teacher who helped me find freedom in my body and voice. It changed everything, and gave me a desire to become certified in this amazing technique, which transforms lives for the better by discovering how to choose freedom, vibrancy, comfort and wholeness in all our daily activities!
Our bodies have an intelligence that most of us don't know how to access. I am so enthusiastic about the Alexander Technique, because I can help people learn how to help themselves every day. I observe clients in activity and with gentle instruction and hands-on help, enable them to change habits that cause strain and pain and move toward greater balance and ease.
