I wanted to make the transition to become vegan and Ciara was exceedingly helpful with designing a program that focused on my health needs while accommodating my lifestyle. Our weekly phone “huddles” kept me focused on and honest about my progress, so I knew where and when to make any necessary adjustments. Talking with Ciara about my health concerns was both calming and affirming. She was a warm and thoughtful listener who asked me strategic questions aimed at getting to the core of my struggles. She was so helpful and patient with my own questions in return. Ultimately, she helped me put together an action plan of next steps that looked at my health from all angles--food, hormones, digestion, physical activity, sleep, et cetera. In my work, you can expect a comprehensive integrative approach to evaluating your body on a systemic level. We’ll work to address the underlying root causes as to why you are not feeling your best. Wellness is an internal journey. By integrating state of the art lab testing, Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine, Bioregulatory medicine, traditional Naturopathy and Orthomolecular supplementation, we will work to bring your body back into balance again. MONTH 2 * One 60-minute coaching session to assist in strategizing against your goals. * A comprehensive review of your Functional Medicine labs (root cause imbalances). * A personalized wellness plan, based on your labs and health assessment. * Follow up emails after each session detailing discussion points and actions for progress. * Voxer support to get your questions answered in real time and to keep you on track and accountable to your goals. MONTH 3 * One 60-minute follow up session for in depth support. * Updates to your personalized wellness plan, as needed. * Resources to the best products to accommodate your needs. * Follow up emails after each session detailing discussion points and actions for progress. * Voxer support to get your questions answered in real time and to keep you on track and accountable to your goals. About me

Hi there! My name is Ciara and I'm a Board Certified Integrative Health Practitioner, Holistic Health Coach, Yoga Instructor and Plant-Based Expert. Through mindset, movement and plant-based nutrition, I specialize in helping high-achieving women to eliminate belly bloat and achieve their goals to feel comfortable and more vibrant in their own skin.

As a Scientist by training, my specialized academic and industry knowledge has given me a unique westernized and holistic perspective that aims to create customized wellness approaches, empowering women to find strength in healing their own bodies. By focusing on bioindividuality, each program is customized to fit individualistic needs. I’ll work with you to help make lifestyle changes, while choosing health-promoting ways that produce real and lasting results.

My intention is to gently guide you in the direction of focusing on your personal goals. As a result, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices that work best for you, improving your overall energy, balance, health, and well-being.

My Philosophy of Care

What most people don't know about me is that embodying a healthy lifestyle did not come easily for me.

I was no stranger to the power of movement and a plant-based lifestyle. I was born and raised as a vegetarian. Thanks to my parents, kale was cool in our household back in the 80s and exercise was ingrained in my well-being.
Although the foundations were there, I fell susceptible to the pressures of societal and diet culture, which began my journey towards achieving optimal health and physical "perfection." When my father passed away, I began to spiral. The sadness, loneliness, anger and depression accumulated on top of the foundation of low self-esteem. A foundation that I wasn't even fully aware of.

My level of self-care began to diminish. I spent years working as a Scientist in the lab. Long hours, sleep deprivation, stressed out and constantly falling ill. Headaches persisted as a normal occurrence in my day-to-day well-being. My digestion!? Let's just say that it resulted in visiting various medical practitioners and having multiple testing procedures to figure out what exactly was going on with my gut, only to be sent home with a CVS prescription for digestive enzymes.

I thought my lifestyle was normal. Healthy even! My reality
was that I was stressed out and exhausted from
trying to keep up with perfection.

I was the girl eating my veggies at lunch everyday and fitting in my 6 am barre classes, but I had failed to look at the bigger picture. Through advanced studies, research, working with a team of wellness practitioners and learning to reconnect to my body, I was able to achieve harmony again. This fostered a burgeoning desire to continue on this path towards helping others.

What You Can Expect On Your First Visit

During your first visit, I will take an assessment of your Biological Blueprint. This will include details on your health history, lab work, current diet and lifestyle, family history, etc., to utilize as a foundational piece in our work together.

My Inspiration

Health coaching is a holistic approach to learning how to listen to your body's intrinsic needs and addressing your concerns on a cellular level.  As a health coach, my job is to support you with giving you deeper insights and perspectives into what it's going to take to really uplevel your health.  Many of us would like to think that we can address our challenges alone, without seeking the support that we may need.  Working with a coach is going to offer you the specific guidance and expertise that you'll need to propel your wellness forward.  Having a coach will allow you to have a birds eye view of what your specific challenges are and will assist you with moving through your barriers.  This will also be an opportunity to expand your mindset and move through limiting beliefs that are accumulated from our friend's, environments and often passed down generationally.  While holding you accountable to your goals, you'll work with your coach through nutritional needs, lifestyle adjustments, stress resiliency, mindset, emotional healing, and physical exercise plans that will fit into your existing lifestyle and capabilities.

I've taken many classes with Ciara at Taireiki Yoga and South Boston yoga studios. Ciara instructs very thoughtfully and demonstrates poses very frequently. She is very good at assisting for any necessary adjustments. She walks you through sequences very systematically incorporating breathing with your practice. She is very knowledgeable and regularly goes over safe yoga practice for long term benefits and safety. I have learned many different asanas from Ciara, which seemed impossible before. As I took different level classes with Ciara, I realized that she is very good at gauging the needs of the class and is able to instruct accordingly. I highly recommend Ciara!
I recently took a yoga class with Ciara and it was awesome. She is so calm and really makes a point to talk to you through each movement. I look forward to taking many more of her classes.
I am not going to lie, yoga is not my go to activity. I tend to gravitate towards fast paced workouts / HIIT and find that yoga ends up stressing me out because of my inability to be jumping around. But when I took Ciara’s class, I found myself in complete relaxation and just enjoying the peaceful movement. Ciara is extremely serene, calm, and grounded and walks you through and explains the poses making it super easy for a non-yogi like myself to follow. I really enjoyed her class.
Ciara's calming and gentle disposition makes her a safe place to open up and leaves you feeling hopeful a better me is achievable. Such an expert with a wealth of knowledge and life experience makes for a well rounded approach. You can tell she really lives for her talent!
