Nationally Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, NC Pilates Teacher
People come to me for help with flexibility, improving their functional mobility, as well as help with making healthier lifestyle choices when it comes to nutrition, stress, and even sleep. I've been teaching Pilates since 2007, and after listening to my client's concerns, I have made choices for continuing education that make sure I meet those needs. As we go through the inevitable process of aging, we notice that our bodies don't respond and react the way they used to or as we would like. And while we can't slow down time, we can maximize and optimize our current health and state of being with small daily choices. That is what Fitlosophy (Fitness Philosophy) is all about, and why I chose to become a Health Coach. Fitness is not just about exercise ability or how we look. Fitness is how well we feel, how well we move, and how well we enjoy the life we are living. Helping each and every one of my clients achieve their most in all of these areas drives me to keep learning so that I can bring that knowledge to my clients.
Helping you live a healthier life so that you have more life to live. My Fitlosophy of movement, nutrition, and reducing toxins helps you have more energy and vitality to live the life you dream of living. I work with middle-aged women and men struggling with low energy, extra pounds, stiffening joints (the symptoms of getting older) so they can return to feeling like themselves again
Our first visit together is spent talking about many different facets of your life and how these areas are affecting your health. It can be a very enlightening encounter as you learn how all the different parts of your life interact in ways you may not have been aware of. I help you use these new insights to form goals and develop the roadmap of how you will reach that goal.
My clients have always inspired me to learn more so that I can be of more help to them, but I really started to dive deep into the root causes of many illnesses when I began trying to solve some of my own issues. That is when the lightbulb came on about how our environment and lifestyle choices play a huge role in how we feel and age. I was also put in the position to be a medical advocate for several family members, which inspired me to learn even more.
