Dietitian, Nutritionist, Behavior Change Specialist Practices: Functional and Integrative Nutrition
I graduated from high school and knew I wanted to go to the college to study nutrition. During my college years I was fascinated by the food science experiments and learning about various deficiencies and coming up with meal plans etc. After moving to te United States, I was given an opportunity to study other 'lucrative fields" but the desire to study advanced nutrition and public health led me to become a Registered Dietitian. I graduated in 2006 and since then I have been making every effort to "Make Nutrition Simple" for my patients. Over the years I have worked with patients with diverse cultural, socio-economical backgrounds. This experience has not only have helped me become a good practitioner, a listener but also a better human being. I owe my success to my patients. I have nothing but sense of gratitude for having to have found my passion for culinary nutrition. My goal is to able to play this forward and continue to help people make behavior changes to improve their quality of life.
I speak english and Indian languages mainly Marathi, Hindi, Gujarati and have working knowledge of Spanish.
