My journey into wellness began as a result of years of struggling with chronic pain in my 20's and 30's where I eventually earned the diagnosis of fibromyalgia.
Body-wide pain for short.
That decade and a half journey led me to see and experience scores of alternative health and medical options while working in the motion picture business, primarily as a Teamster coordinating the circus of vehicles both on and off the set.
It was a fun (though a painful) time of working with the likes of Tom Cruise, Chuck Norris, Jeff Bridges, etc. and directors like Oliver Stone.
But something had to give because the pains were too much.
Eventually I worked it out with special self-corrective exercises, a good diet and beliefs.
One day during my recovery process which lasted 8 months, I felt balance for the first time in my adult life.
This life-changing moment (which happened about the 3 month mark) gave me the thought, if I could learn this and teach others "not to take long road" like I did, then surely this is the path to help others.
This allowed me to return to activities such as skiing and soccer - pain-free!
So I started with Reiki, Muscle Balance & Function Development, Resistance Training Specialist.
Then life intervened as a knee meniscus was torn playing soccer and opted not to have surgery since I took the 3 year training in Hanna Somatic Education (HSE) and was able to play soccer comfortably once again.
Eventually becoming a State and National Champion as a senior athlete.
This journey and the incredible natural ability of what healthy vertebrate animals do to remain agile, take out tension, stress and leave stiffness behind and feel comfortable throughout the entire body.
Led me to write my first book, Move Like an Animal: Feel Comfortable, Be Flexible, Move Well for Life in 3 Simple Steps.

Along the way I taught hundreds of live movement classes to some thousand people. It had dawned on me to record them (well that took awhile for me to realize it).
This is now the basis of my comprehensive online programs, online monthly classes and online individual movement classes designed to offer help where ever you have a connection.
