Traditional Acupuncture Office
What we usually see as a problem I see as an opportunity for transformation. Yes, let's resolve your symptoms and at the same time let's use that as a doorway to a better life, a whole lot better!
Oriental Medicine came to my rescue when I was twenty. After ten months traveling around the Middle East and India I needed help and I was delighted by the help I received: It didn't just fix things, it changed my life. I've been studying and practicing different branches of Oriental Medicine ever since, about forty years. In 1996 my studies took me to the Traditional Acupuncture Institute (now Maryland University of Integrative Health) for their Five Element Acupuncture training. The experience has been transformative for me and my gratitude is a driver in my work - I'd like for you to experience this.
HeartMath has also been a transformative practice for me. Because it's so good at resolving stress, anxiety and negative emotions I became a Certified HeartMath practitioner and I offer HeartMath coaching.
I also have training in: Jin Shin Do® BodyMind Acupressure - the "In-Body Experience" and another transformative tool. Food (rather than nutrition) through an Oriental Medicine lens. Qi Gong classes - Chinese Medicine in motion.
In recent years personal experience with an autoimmune condition has given me insight into how to assist patients in unraveling these puzzling conditions. Again, not just the symptoms but resolving an underlying condition.
In striving to respect the wisdom of the body and of nature, my motto is "Do not shoot the messenger". Please feel free to contact me regarding your situation. Respect your symptoms as messengers and as doorways to transformation.
The first visit is always longer, giving time for me to learn about you - your symptoms, history, goals, and then to begin the journey together.
Personal experience was my inspiration. I want others to experience this transformation and to experience the beauty of the natural laws of the universe.
