About me
About me
I've suffered from chronic pain due to a genetic connective tissue disorder, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, for most of my life. As I got older and the stress in my life grew, the injuries became worse, I developed mast cell disorder, arthritis, neuropathy, autonomic dysfunction, Tourette's syndrome and pseudo-bulbar affect. The constant pain and anxiety were almost unbearable even with the use of opioids, anti-inflammatory and anti-anxiety medications; I didn't realize, like most patients, that they worsened my symptoms in the long run.
