Dr. Barone has been in practice at NewPort Village Chiropractic since October 2nd, 2000.
He graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from The University of Western States in 2000. In 2008 he completed the International Chiropractic Sport Science Diploma (ICSSD), and in 2010 he became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He is currently enrolled in Certified by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Paediatrics (CACCP) program.
He has volunteered chiropractic care at international events such as the 2009 World Games in Kaosiung, Taiwan, and the annual Penticton Ironman Canada from 2008-2012, and Whistler Ironman Canada from 2013 to present. He has also provided care at numerous local events both in Vancouver BC and in Portland Oregon including the Hood to Coast Relay, and BMO Vancouver Marathon.
He is a member of the BC Chiropractic Association (BCCA), the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA), the Royal Canadian College of Chiropractic Sport Sciences, the Federation Internationale Chiropratique du Sport (FICS) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and the International Chiropractic Paediatric Association (ICPA)
Dr. Barone grew up with a love of sport, playing with the New Westminster Royals hockey and soccer clubs in his youth. He also played high school football for St. Thomas More Collegiate in Burnaby BC.
He currently enjoys cooking, playing the guitar, running, skiing, mountain biking, and playing recreational hockey.
