About me

I am a life coach and hypnotherapist who works with people one-on-one, in groups, and workshops to overcome limiting beliefs and reclaim personal power, confidence, and clarity. I have worked with a variety of issues from smoking cessation to career advancement. I love to work with kind-hearted people who struggle to set healthy boundaries and put their own needs first. It is my personal philosophy that loving ourselves is the greatest gift we can give to others. When we care for ourselves we set the standard of self-care for those around us.

My Philosophy of Care

I had a rough childhood. I grew up believing I was a worthless waste of space. I truly did not see myself becoming anything more than a grunt in life. And yet, I always had a voice of truth and wisdom within. This powerful inner self would whisper to me in my heart. My journey started when I chose to listen to dispite all logic and reason. It is this inner wisdom that has lead me to the teachers that helped transform my life and to the opportunity I now have to transform yours!

What You Can Expect On Your First Visit

Each first session is different. With one-on-one clients, the first session is all about creating a strong context for our work together and a really really safe space to start from.

My Inspiration

Hypnosis is a very natural normal state of consciousness we move in and out of every day. Specifically, as you are falling asleep each night or anytime you are drifting into a daydream you are experiencing hypnosis. There is no loss of control. Hypnotherapy is all about accessing this state so that the conscious and subconscious parts of your mind are aligned towards the same goal.

Hypnosis is a little different than it is commonly portrayed in the media today. The hypnotic or trance state can be produced in a number of ways. You go in and out of light levels of trance on a daily basis. If you've ever driven on autopilot and missed your exit or realized you don't remember driving home, you were in hypnosis. Hypnosis for therapeutic purposes has been shown extremely effective for all kinds of behavioral change and pain management. Your subconscious mind regulates everything from heart rhythm to nerve responses. In hypnosis, it is possible to communicate and influence this part of the mind for your benefit. However, the subconscious mind will always protect you. It cannot be influenced in any way that it may perceive as a threat to your overall wellbeing. The reason hypnosis is so effective is because it's used to help all the parts of your mind to create a healthier you.
