About me

I'm Jen! I have been a dietitian since 2001 and absolutely love seeing my clients experience something beyond mere weight management. In my near 20 years of practice I have seen first hand the destructive nature of the diet culture while simultaneously embracing the beauty of nutrition and the power that food has to both fuel and to heal. My passion is to both adults and adolescents escape the dieting and disordered eating cycle and to help you start living in freedom again! My goal is to guide you on the path to better health by helping you restore a balanced relationship with food and exercise in a way that address your nutritional concerns, create change and experience tangible results in your health without making you feel like you're on a restrictive diet bound to fail. As a result, my clients report experiencing an overall better quality of life in every way! Food and weight issues don’t have to control your life. Let me help you discover what freedom and a healthy relationship with food looks like!

My Philosophy of Care

I have a unique philosophy that address both the importance of a non-diet approach, embracing the joys of intuitive eating while also exploring the amazing benefits found through functional nutrition and other principles found in nature. You don't have to feel like you're on a diet in order to experience the amazing, healing benefits of food!

What You Can Expect On Your First Visit

I schedule 90 min to have enough time to truly get to know you, hear your story, understand your goals and your "why". I like to hear more about what has worked for you in the past, what hasn't and how we can make this different and better than anything you may have tried doing in the past. Once we know where we are headed, hopefully get started on some practical changes to help you move forward.

My Inspiration

I LOVE seeing the connection between someone's relationship with food and the way lives as a whole. When someone's relationship with food and/or their overall nutrition is compromised, virtually every aspect of their lives suffer. This is why is amazing to see how when someone is holistically healthy in the truest sense of the word, their lives and relationships flourish. I experience such joy in helping people find wholeness and freedom in these areas!
