Center Health Acupuncture
I'm an intuitive Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner who helps people regain health, balance and quality of life.
I am a mother of 3, dreamer, goal oriented, nature loving, God fearing lover of life. I grew up in sunny southern California and moved around a bit in my 20's but now call Fort Worth, Texas my home!
Most of my days are kept busy with my practice and juggling being a mom of 3. I enjoy working out, yoga and just chilling on the couch with a good Netflix documentary. I like trying new recipes of all different types of cuisine and diet types. I believe in a more well rounded balanced diet for myself. A little bit of animal products and lots of fresh veggies and fruits!
I graduated in 2015 from Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine with a Bachelor's in Health Science and a Master's in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I then moved back to California and became licensed there. I had a small mobile practice for a short time but then decided to move to Texas. I became licensed in Texas and worked for a few different high volume clinics where I learned a lot more than what I already knew. After some time to reflect on where my life was going I decided to start my own practice in March of 2020. Hmm....what else can I say? GO COWBOYS!
As a teenager and a young adult I struggled with acne tremendously. I tried many different things an nothing really helped or gave me lasting results. I decided to try acupuncture to help my acne. I will always remember how I felt after my first treatment. I felt so much lighter and had so much more energy. It took time to see a difference in my skin, as my acupuncturist told me, but I saw noticeable difference, not just in my skin but how I felt. I wanted to learn more about this medicine so I asked my acupuncturist about how to become an acupuncturist. He told me what school to apply to, I applied and was then accepted into the program. I really don't know what else I would be doing. I feel like I was made to bring this wonderful medicine to people and help make the world a healthier place.
My clients would describe their first visit as "relaxing", "rejuvenating" "my time to go inward" and "I had no idea Acupuncture could be this relaxing."
Acupuncture is a type of medical treatment that dates back 5,000 years. It can help with a variety of health conditions. Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine take into account the whole body, mind and spirit. We take a deep look into all the symptoms you may be experiencing, even those you may not think are important and come up with a diagnosis and treatment plan to treat all of you; not just the one symptom you came in for. Each treatment is customized to the person and the symptoms they are experiencing. Acupuncture helps reduce cortisol levels, a.k.a. stress hormone, it helps your body release its own natural pain killers, increase blood circulation, boost your immune system and so much more.
