A true health ambassador. Brilliant doctor who has all the research at hand. I have an OMD, and when cancer came to my breast tissue, I asked all my reps and other peer MD's who I should see, and after visiting and talking to many it was easy to go back to Dr Winkler, his generous demeanor and kind personality was so attractive. But it was his sharp, intelligent presentation of complex biological cascades which he thoroughly spent time to explain. Hence making choices for my breast cancer opened my capacity to feel like I too could be part of the healing. It has been almost 4 years and I have more energy, have wiser choices about my food and continue to clear toxins in my body. Please get a consult with Dr Winkler. Juergen Winkler MD, ABIHM, ABOIM opened Quantum Functional Medicine in Carlsbad, CA to provide quality functional, integrative health care to restore and maintain health. Functional medicine is a systems oriented approach specific to each individual. It involves a partnership of the patient and practitioner to address underlying causes of disease. It addresses the whole person with regard to their individual genetics, environmental exposures, life style factors, spiritual, emotional and physical makeup. Each of these factors are an influence in chronic disease and Dr. Winkler's goal is to address them in order to restore and maintain health and vitality.
