In June 2014, I attended one of Hay House’s “I Can Do It” seminars. I had heard many of the authors on Hay House Radio and had purchased many of the books, CDs and DVDs on HayHouse.com. I was excited to see them, hear them, and be in their presence. I looked up to them. I aspired to be like then. I was inspired by them and made changes in my life because of them. Except Nancy. I hadn’t heard Nancy’s story, and had no idea what she would have to say. But I figured Hay House put her on stage at “I Can Do It” so it must be good. I sat in my seat and listened to her while she was sharing her story from stage, and all of the sudden I felt super connected to her and her message. To me, she felt like a regular person that had a job and was simultaneously building her own business. I felt like I could learn from her. I bought her book (the only book I purchased during the seminar) and read it cover to cover on the plane ride home. As soon as I got home I signed up for her Jump group coaching program.
