About me

I am an artist, singer, musician, Certified Oracle Guide, Empowerment Coach, and I am proud to hold my MBA and my BA in Vocal Performance. I've been helping individuals work through tough life situations to remove emotional blocks that have held them back from living their most fulfilling lives!

When you work with me, our sessions will be one-on-one that combines very specific empowering and intuitive techniques to help you shift to a higher level of consciousness, to a level where you feel less triggered, less controlled by your circumstances, and more aligned with the real version of you. My Philosophy of Care

Growing up in a very conventional family, I was raised to walk the line of structure and tradition that my family and community expected of me. There was also a lot of resistance, criticism, judgments, warnings and doubt from those around me when I said that I wanted to pursue a singing career as well as a healing path. This push-back robbed me of my sense of intuition to make my own choices, and I found that others’ words of “advice” caused me to second-guess myself all the time. The truth was, I was lacking the skills and tools to build healthy boundaries, to have healthy communications, and to be empowered to stand up for myself.

While I was learning how to be there for everyone else, I wasn’t aware of how crucial it was to take care of myself...first. I realized I was carrying out the behavioral patterns, coping mechanisms and emotional triggers that I inherited, responses that were considered to be “functional and normal," when it came to surviving in a family structure. And this carried out into the other areas of my life: relationships, jobs, personal decisions, etc. I was leaving myself out of the equation, and offering my seat to everyone else.

Still, I went ahead with my singing career and healing path anyway, because my soul would not stop whispering to me about my purpose: to use my voice. I see that there is a great need to help others discover their own strength, intuition, and courage, and to help them see that they are so much more than what they’ve been conditioned to believe about themselves. I am here to use my voice to help others find theirs.

My Inspiration

People have often asked me, “Isn’t this intuitive coaching stuff just a bunch of woo woo?” Not at all! I bring practical, effective methodology and intuitive practices together with a modern approach, to help my clients get honest and transparent answers about themselves and their situations. I actively engage with my clients to use their intuition to dig deep and examine the obstacles, influences and repeating messages that prevent them from being able to move forward in their lives. Sometimes this can be done in one session; sometimes it can take several sessions. But it is always my goal to help shift my client to a higher level of emotional awareness, for a more empowered life. And this is done through specific interventions, exercises, and fun homework. I am a huge fan of meditating and making sure not to make any big decisions from an emotional state. I also find that putting the pen to paper helps me anchor myself to the situation. I have often advised my clients to write it down to gain clarity in their heads: 1) What's stressing me out right now? 2) What about this situation is in my control right now? 3) What about this situation is out of my control? 4) What or who are my resources that I can turn to for help? 5) What or who is my support system? 6) What are the actions I will take (daily, weekly, monthly) to be more empowered in this situation? Writing is one of the most effective ways to silence the Inner Critic and clear the emotional cobwebs!

Susan, awesome question! Whenever I find myself falling back into these lower emotional levels for whatever reason, my Inner Goblin is right there, rubbing it's hands together, and telling me all kinds of lies about my experience. This "Lower Self" is my brain, trying to protect me from perceived threats, and wants me to identify with my emotions as a way to gauge the severity of those threats. But I am not my emotions; they only represent my response mechanism. So I go a step further to examine what is triggering me, why I am being triggered by it, and how I can heal that trigger. When I am experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, etc., I get to a neutral place with visual meditations that help me disassociate from that lower emotion; then I can begin the process of breaking down and healing those triggers.
