About me

Who I am...

I'm Laura Malfa and I am here to help you with your spiritual evolution.  I have spent almost all my life seeking and trying to satisfy the feeling in me that there is something "missing" from my life.   As a result of this search I have studied many modalities including energy work, yoga, meditation, couples counseling, trauma healing,  flower essences, tapping and more.   I have also traveled the world learning from different teachers, yogis, gurus, acupuncturists and doctors.  All of this seeking ultimately led me back to myself and a journey inward to discover the very source of my being.  I could not  have possibly known that what I was seeking was already where I was!!  My search has finally been satisfied when I met my final teacher Sri Mooji and finally understood and experienced my true nature through the his direct teachings.

This work with Mooji and my understanding of the Advita teachings have influenced all areas of my life and my work.  I now know that I am here to continue with my own discovery and to help other seekers.

I am honored to help you on your way home.  I refer to discovering your true nature as "home" because your true place is the most natural, spontaneous and joyful state.

What I do...

I work with individuals and couples to help those who are ready to understand life from a non-dual perspective.  What that means in plain English is that you have accepted the knowing that you are a divine being (god-self) having a human experience.  When you know and experience this truth your life profoundly changes.  Instead of feeling like there are mistakes and problems you can see the wisdom in the way that life unfolds and are open.  You trust that life brings you exactly what you need to evolve so that you may discover your true nature.

Non-dual literally means not two and it is the understanding that there is one source to all of life and that we are not separate from that source.  It does not mean that duality does not exist.  There is black and white, up and down, happy and sad but these dualities exist within the one source that is the truth of who we are.  When this  is understood and experienced  there is natural peace and a lightness of being.  There are tools and ways to look that can help you have a direct experience of your true nature that is transformative and enlightening .  Please see Mooji's website for numerous free videos on this subject www.mooji.org.

I  offer counseling and energy work with individuals and couples to assist you on your path.   Often there are practical questions and situations  in your life that can be clarified  and simplified when seen through the lens of non-duality.  Looking at life this way has a profound impact and can amplify healing on every level; physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

My work and understanding is deeply influenced by Sri Mooji (mooji.org) Ramana Marharshi, Amma.

Hi There One of my new favorite things to do when I start feeling stressed is to lie on the floor and put my legs up the wall. Do this with some deep breathing and your will notice an instant reduction in stress and anxiety. Ideally the out breath should be longer than the in breath to induce the bodies relaxation response. Truly amazing and quick.I also agree with the comment below about adding some additional Magnesium into your diet it can be very calming. Be well
