All of this supported on the foundation of a healthy digestive system.
My end goal is to realize a fully energized individual that can do whatever they want to do for as long as they want to.
After living a life full of stress and never stop pursue professional fulfillment, my health finally gave-up, manifesting in metabolic disorders, and a cancer scare that is not a family feature. Looking for answers that allopathic medicine could not provide, took me to a path of learning the power of food, nutrition, and lifestyle to preserve, restore and prevent disease.
The more I studied, the more I wanted to learn until eventually, I decided to pursue my degree in Functional Clinical Nutrition became board certified and now I continue with a Doctor in Clinical Nutrition with the goal of spreading the information that we are not designed to get sick as we age, but can continue to thrive all the way to a healthy and happy senior life.
Nutrition and food are Medicine!
The partnership with my clients start after we have a short Discovery Call session to discuss goals, methods and check for compatibility to work together.
The first official visit is a 90-120 min Intake session where all aspects of the client's Health History is discussed and the fundation of the work ahead is framed. This includes timeline of life event that may influence current health status, Diet information, Exixing laboratory information, medications, supplements as well as lifestyle.
The first thing that surprises my prospective clients is to learn that we are going to work in partnership. I do not believe in prescriptive diets or provide a diet to fix a particular symptom. Meeting my clients where they are, we work to make the necessary lifestyle changes that would be conducive to the resolution of the specific problem.
