Healing with food is a central part of my approach, and I am currently publishing a book to help people heal their relationship with food.
I spent 10 years studying with a Master Yogi and have studied under some of the worlds best Ayurvedic Doctors (Vaidyas). I have a deep passion for preserving the authenticity of ancient wisdom practices, while applying them in a culturally relevant way to modern life.

Outside of my work as a clinician, I dance, write poetry, am a Climate Activist, and enjoy quality time with my husky.
When I was 19 years old, I stunned myself when I looked down at my collage of pharmaceutical drugs I was taking everyday. Each one seemed to lead to side effects that required a new medication. Yet, I kept feeling sicker and sicker. I was working with the disability service at my college, was “allergic” to everything under the sun, and surfing the downward spiral of helplessness. Until that day, when I realized I needed to take my health into my own hands.
I started looking for real answers, instead of just a band aid. I began learning about food and modern agricultural practices, started changing my diet and noticing how much food impacted both my physical symptoms and my emotional state. I started seeking out alternative options to allopathic medicine, and discovered a whole world of health practices that looked at the body as a connected whole.
I committed to the care and guidance of Ayurveda and Yoga. Together, with the support of incredible practitioners and teachers, I healed my chronic disease and now live a pain-free life.
