Mary was able to help me work towards behavior shift goals by teaching me: about micro-shifts, how to loosen my perfectionist mentality, how to ask for help, eating 5 colors and food for fuel, recovery and fun, disorder is a part of life and is temporary, NON-NEGOTIABLES!, the body and mind connection. The most significant overall change I have noticed has been learning that setbacks do not equal failure. One example early on in the program that sticks out to me is when I was feeling like a failure because I ate some ice cream straight out of the container. Expecting to be judged like in previous situations, I was surprised and speechless when Mary asked me "but did you eat the entire container?" That was when my mindset about eating began to change. It was enlightening! I would describe Mary as: delightful, positive, nurturing, non-judging, calm, supportive, happy, wonderful! I would recommend Mary to anyone who is ready to take a deeper look into themselves, both physically and mentally. More specifically, if someone is ready to be shown how simple change can be if you open your mind and body in a positive and uplifting way.

I recently finished two back to back six-month coaching sessions with Mary and it was amazing. She has an incredible ability to listen. I felt heard and acknowledged. About me

After retiring from a successful foodservice business of over 30+ years, Mary chose to fuse her deep passion for food, well-being, and service to others by becoming an Integrative Wellness Entrepreneur. Choosing to “re-wire” life's next chapter, Mary works guiding individuals 50+ who find themselves questioning their identity, fearful of change, has lost zest for life and is left feeling inadequate transitioning with age. Post primary career years can bring challenge for the individual finding a renewed zest for life with purpose and passion. Just as the daily responsibilities of small business ownership can bring feeling of overwhelm, anxiety, stress, and fatigue. From personal experience as a successful bakery and restaurant owner of 30+ years, Mary excels coaching the small business owner to better manage the aspects of work - life balance. Mary understands your struggles and successfully works with her clients to achieve their goals.

My Philosophy of Care

In 2014, my husband reached for a BIG goal! As a long-time runner, Chris made the intentional decision to commit to the experience of an Ultra 100 Mile trail race at age 60. We worked as a team creating a training program focused on Food for Fuel | Food for Recovery | Food for Fun. The experience provided a first hand perspective on how our minds and bodies have the ability to increase performance as a person ages.

We have known Mary Dierker for many years and have long recognized her passion for helping people live their best lives. So it was an easy decision to attend the wellness retreat in Wyoming. From the moment we arrived, I felt like I was being embraced in a loving hug. (Actually, I was!) From delivering coffee to our door, to the daily motivational newsletter, to yoga ... the retreat was designed to help us to relax, embrace the moments, enjoy nature and give thanks.
