It was Meg’s extensive education, multiple certifications and experience that initially drew me to her services. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist that has been working in the fitness industry for over 10 years and Meg Mangano provides services that get results. Soon after starting to utilize Meg’s services I realized that not only was I getting the best results I had ever seen, but I was learning how to create healthy meal planning that would be sustainable for the rest of my life! Meg has a heart of gold and she puts passion behind everything she does and you will know by how much she cares about you and your success!
All of our kids have dropped times in 90% of their events! We have 3 little girls from 9-13 years of age. All 3 of our girls swim on a club swim team, they swim different levels and different strokes. We needed Meg’s help because we didn’t know what to feed them during their training, before their meets and during the meets. Since they are still growing we knew we could not follow the adult nutrition/ diet/ sports books nor could we feed them only sports bars, drinks and gels, they needed proper fueling and hydration but at different needs! Meg met with our swim team parents and helped us with our nutrition journey. With Meg’s individual profiles we went to work! What a difference in performance at practices and meets we are having! All of our kids have dropped times in 90% of their events! Many of our kids have been able to meet higher time standards and some of our kids were able to move up to the faster swim groups. So, with a little effort on our part, really understanding what our kids nutrition needs are and with Meg’s help we are having swim success! Thank you Meg!!!
Working with Meg over the last 3 years has enabled me to take my performance, training and recovery to another level. Meg has not only helped structure my diet to address my personal needs, but she has also provided essential vitamins and supplements as well. Another advantage in working with Meg is that she not only tells me which foods to eat but she explains why certain foods are beneficial or not. This, in turn, has vastly improved my nutritional knowledge. Sometimes trying to eat healthy can become monotonous, but Meg has been able to suggest a variety of healthy options without sacrificing taste. Overall, I truly believe that my health and fitness have been tremendously improved by working with Meg.

Meg Mangano helped me transform my body for my 4th and final Olympics. Never satisfied with “good enough” Meg was able to assess my nutritional situation and work with me on an itemized plan to get the most out of my training and recovery. She helped me understand what food could take my performance to the next level. I will forever be grateful for her help taking my game to the next level in Vancouver and for the awareness in health I will take with me for the rest of my life.
