Nyle MacFarlane received her Masters in Occupational Therapy and Occupational Science from Towson University in 2008. They founded Blue Nyle Therapy Services in 2008 and has worked in a variety of adult and pediatric settings, including acute care hospitals, home healthcare settings, and an innovative gymnastics therapeutic program. In 2010, she partnered with a fitness facility in Bethesda, MD to establish a pediatric Occupational Therapy clinic.
They found her life's calling when she attended her first John F. Barnes Myofascial Release seminar in 2009. They are uniquely trained to work with children and adults by using a combination of therapeutic interventions that include sensory integration therapy, therapeutic taping, positional release/ muscle energy, neurodevelopmental treatment, myofascial release, and cranial sacral fascial therapy. Their work with newborns and infants has proven effective in addressing issues often associated with birthing trauma, which include reflux and breastfeeding difficulties.
In addition to their work as an occupational therapist, they are a proud parent of three remarkable young children. In 2020, Nyle restructured their practice to include telehealth sessions that utilize embodiment techniques and medical intuition to teach their patients how to assess, connect, explore, and embody their own healing capabilities.
