Pam’s coaching philosophy can be summed up in just a few words: Everyone, absolutely everyone, has the potential for change. Sometimes we lose sight of what is possible for ourselves, especially if we have tried and failed numerous times to improve our health and wellness. As your wellness coach, Pam will guide you to find your vision and motivation again, in order to move forward and become your best self.

A more in-depth look
Pam is a certified health and wellness coach with years of experience in the health and wellness field. She began her career in the 1980s as a member of one of the early graduating classes of Physician Assistants at St. Francis University in Loretto, PA. She worked as a Physician’s Assistant (PA) in the fields of orthopedics and women’s health until 1994 when she made the decision to stay at home and raise her three daughters.
On returning to the paid workforce in 2005, Pam took a job at Noyes Health in Dansville, NY as a health educator. Over the ten years she remained in that position, she was engaged in community wellness projects ranging from blood pressure clinics to health fairs at worksites to speaking engagements for local community groups. She developed and implemented programs that focused on healthy nutrition, weight loss, smoking cessation, fitness, heart health, cancer prevention, stress management, meditation and more. Along with a team of health-minded employees, Pam coordinated an employee wellness program at the hospital for five years. The program won the “Health is Wealth” award from the Rochester Business Journal in 2011.
In February of 2015, Pam received her certification as a Wellcoaches Certified Coach and opened Roots of Wellness Coaching a few months later. She particularly enjoys the one-on-one aspect of coaching and assisting clients who may have struggled for years to make positive changes in their health status move forward and achieve their personal wellness goals.
Pam is married and has three grown daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening, quilting, playing in her church handbell choir and spending time with family and friends. Her newest passion is training for and climbing mountains, having reached the peak of Mount Katahdin in Maine in 2014 and Whiteface Mountain in the Adirondacks of New York in 2015.
