Learn More About Rob Meyer-Kukan, LMT, STCP, NHE

About me

Rob Meyer-Kukan is a dedicated perfectionist, although he prefers the title, “control specialist”. Rob loves to help others by sharing his knowledge and experience. He is a Licensed Massage Therapist, a Certified and Licensed Sound Therapist, a level III Trained Reiki Practitioner and Instructor, and a Natural Health Educator. Music has been a life-long passion of his. The lessons he has learned as a professional musician shine through in his natural health practice. Commitment, dedication, work ethic, compassion, and creativity are hallmarks of Rob's practice. His gentle, loving, yet encouraging personality shine through in every interaction.

My Philosophy of Care

Rob was inspired to become a wellness professional when he first experienced Alexander Technique - a holistic movement modality. Due to an injury, he was exploring various ways to move with more freedom and ease. This lead to massage therapy and eventually to an intensive study of natural health.

What You Can Expect On Your First Visit

Bodywork clients leave feeling relaxed, relieved, and calm.
Vibrational Sound Therapy clients leave feeling relaxed, energized, free, and lighter than when they cam in.
Natural Health clients leave feeling encouraged, hopeful, and energized.

My Inspiration

Give it a try!
VST is deeply calming and very relaxing. It's a great way to relax, calm the nervous system, and be renewed. This non-invasive, light touch modality uses therapeutic Himalayan singing bowls on and around the body to bring a deep sense of relaxation and calm. The client lies on a massage table, remains fully clothed, and may be covered by a blanket for additional warmth and comfort.

Questions & Answers

Rob Meyer-Kukan, LMT, STCP, NHE Answers
As a Natural Health Educator and a natural health consultant I tell people the following things to do during cold and flu season. But first, a wee bit of philosophy... We have this misconception that germs cause illness. It's actually a thing, called "germ theory". Germs are everywhere and if germs made us sick, we'd all be sick all the time. What prevents us from getting sick??? A strong immune system. It's not the germs that are making us sick, it's a weakened or not-taken-care-of (for lack of a better term, neglected) immune system. So, what are some natural ways to support your immune system? - Water (drink good clean water - take your body weight, divide it in half and drink that number of ounces of water each day) - Sleep (sleep hygiene is very important. Get 7-8 hours of sleep per night) - Whole Foods (eat good food. avoid the garbage and junk - fruits, veggies, lean protein, good fats avoid sugar!) - Vitamin C (and foods that contain vitamin c. beyond citrus - yum, green pepper!) - Elderberry Syrup (be careful if taking elderberry supplements that contain as their first or second ingredient: sugar, even natural sugars will aid the inflammation processes in the body) - Vitamin D (It may be winter; but soak up the rays on these sunny days or find a good vitamin D supplement) - Colloidial Silver (you won't turn blue...) - Immune Boosting Essential Oils (regardless of where you fall on the debate of essential oils... I choose Young Living's Thieves blend If you have any questions or would like to schedule a natural health assessment/appointment, visit my profile to schedule!
