Growing up in a strict Christian family, I found myself struggling with rules and expectations. I learned unhealthy coping skills that resulted in isolation and addiction. From the outside, it looked like I had it all. I had the family, the house, the husband, education, fitness, friends, health and yet I was silently sinking. It took the loss of it all to finally find the help I needed. Thankfully, because of the support I received, I discovered the truth and how to live in freedom and enjoy all the things I once had. My mess became my message. God never wastes a hurt. There is purpose in the pain.
My background in fitness, nutrition, education, and the right support system inspires me to use my knowledge and passion to help others discover freedom as I found.
I stay dedicated to my fitness goals and keep to eating clean as a priority. Mindset is key to success as well as knowing what gives me energy to keep an inspired lifestyle. My priorities are God, myself and others. Taking care of myself is critical to pour into others. I enjoy good relationships that include depth, laughter and fun. My top 6 values are Faith, Family, Friends, Fitness, Fun and Freedom!
Years of dieting and exercise without proper self-care and support lead to frustration. There are reasons why we get stuck in a cycle. There is hope in breaking through old habits and getting what you want. If it was about following another diet or exercise program, then why do we end up in the same place? I believe the right support is the key to discovering success.
We will begin by defining your focus, discovering what your desired outcome is and what has been getting in the way. Then see my coaching program is right for you.
People need to feel heard and understood, accepted and acknowledged. Every person has strengths and God-given desires. When we go through life's ups and downs, we need encouragement from others. Sometimes it's as simple as doing one small step to get motivated. Then we can move forward. "Small hinges open big doors" is one of my favorite sayings.
