About me

I am a health coach! I strive to be a guide and partner to my clients on their health journey. I share my knowledge and expertise in food and nutrition and overall wellness including sleep, stress. meditation and exercise. I am my client's partner and work hand in hand to help reach optimal health. I collect my blessings by helping my clients live fuller and healthier lives!

My Philosophy of Care

I have struggled with minor health issues and weight management for the most part of my adult life. I was able to always educate myself and find solutions to fight the challenges but found it to be a very lonely battle. When my last health challenge with my gall bladder stones occurred I decided that if I can cure myself then I can help so many others manage and deal with their health challenges. I decided to get the formal education I needed to understand how food and good lifestyle can manage and keep us away from health concerns. My passion for health and wellness coupled with my desire to be there for others lead me to take on health and wellness as a profession. Mental and emotional health is as important as physical health. During a pandemic there is stress related to work as well as the new lifestyle of staying home not being able to socialize or see family and friends. Stress leads to a strain on emotional health. Some remedies for managing stress to manage emotional and mental health are: - meditation - breathing exercises to manage anxiety - gratitude exercises - taking natural supplements called adaptogens like ashwagandha - exercising - a good sleep routine all or some of the above manage stress and hormones. It is important to talk with someone and stay in touch with family and friends. Gratitude exercises help with counting the blessings and things to be thankful for and hence taking away focus from what we don't have during this time.

Vitamin D. Supports immune function. People taking Vitamin D according to studies suffered fewer attacks. Other vitamins that help are B vitamins (b3 and B12), Vitamin C, Zinc and Magnesium.
