About me
Because of my own family history, after getting a Master’s degree in couple’s and family counseling, I focused on learning more about addiction in families. I was drawn to understand addiction from a macro perspective: what factors in our culture, society, family systems, and in our bodies create conditions that either contribute to addiction or contribute to health. It’s not always a quick fix: detox, 30, 60, or 90 day.
Families are exhausted after multiple rehabs and multiple relapses.
