My Philosophy of Care

I teach my clients the strategies that I KNOW work, so they can find their Ideal Partner and Lose the Losers.
I'll show you how to send out the messages that the NICE guys want to hear!

What You Can Expect On Your First Visit

We're going to talk about what kinds of guys you've been dating, your personal experiences, and how you can find the "keepers."

My Inspiration

My own issues with anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem and self-confidence had the losers and jerks buzzing around me like fruit flies.
Not only did I attract them, but I also scared all the GOOD ones away because I didn't think I was worthy or good enough.
What I teach my clients are the same tools I used to find my own Ideal Partner - whom I've been with for almost 12 years. (He's amazing!) You can do the same!

Questions & Answers

Susan Petang Answers
My real answer is too long to post here. :-) 3 Key Points: 1. Be mindful. Stay in THIS moment, right now. The past is gone, the future isn't here yet. The only thing that is real (and logical to embrace and enhance) is NOW. 2. Be grateful & positive. Not just for big things, but for little things, too. "I"m grateful I got to sleep an extra 10 minutes this morning." I'm grateful I got the shopping done so quickly." When we do that regularly, the feeling of gratitude becomes familiar - and we'll see all the everyday miracles we usually miss. 3. Monitor your self talk. What do you tell yourself about the pandemic? "This is awful and what will I do if I get sick?" Instead, say things like, "I've dealt with serious problems before. I'll do the best I can and am able to handle anything that comes my way." Maybe this free YouTube video will be helpful: "5 Ways for Moms to Deal with Lockdown Stress (without a hand grenade)" https://youtu.be/r7P7fOuiDRA Visit www.thequietzonecoaching.com for more info. :-)

Being mindful is the first step. If you're having a particularly stressful day, do a 30 second meditation. All that's needed is 30 seconds of your time to focus in on any item around you - something from your desk or bag, a spot on the wall, or the pattern on the carpet. Focus on the item and observe the colors, textures, aromas, etc., and find wonder and amazement for the way it as made, or what it does. By interrupting the stressful, spiraling thoughts and bringing ourselves back to the moment, we can better handle crazy work days!

Yes, positive affirmations are useful. However, if our self esteem isn't what it should be, our subconscious mind can sabotage us - it doesn't believe the affirmation, and can cause us to have the exact opposite response to the affirmation. The way to correct this is to create situations in which you show the behavior you're trying to develop, and make your affirmation about that win! For example, if you want to learn to be kind, hold doors open for others or smile at strangers. Now you have a real life example: "I AM a kind person! Look what I did!" Break your goals down into bite-sized units, and every time you achieve one of the steps towards that goal, pat yourself on the back and create an affirmation. "I AM successful! I just answered six help wanted posts! I'm proud of the progress I'm making!"
