Tara has a wealth of experience and training which she seamlessly integrates while working with me. I have been benefiting from her skills for eighteen months. She always has new ideas and modifications if my pain changes or I have a different injury. She gets to the root cause of my pain and dysfunction and has an amazing intuitive understanding about the connections within the body. Tara has excellent hands on skills as well as a rich and varied array of approaches during our sessions from using Heart Rate Variability tools to Pilates. I always leave each session with varied exercises which I can work on myself until our next session. Tara explains the reasoning behind each exercise and I appreciate learning about my body and why I have ended up with the issues I have. I feel hope that I can resolve my pain and work successfully on renewing and improving my physical function. I would recommend any woman with physical mobility or pain issues to work with Tara . Learn More About Tara Morrison

About me

My journey to becoming a birth trauma coach and supporting birthing bodies in pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond has been guided by my own journey into motherhood, my passion for self-development, and the teachings from my clients in my pelvic floor physical therapy and health coaching practices over the past 10 years.

Before having my two children, I intellectually understood many of the challenges that new mothers face. I understood the toll that pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period have on a person's body. Plus the education and skills to treat the bodies in front of me.

I understood the differences between the traditional midwifery care model and the standard OBGYN model of care. The risks and benefits associated with each.

But it wasn’t until I fully experienced my own rite of passage into motherhood that I fully grasped the depths that becoming a mother entails.

Inner Rhythm Wellness is a reflection of the medicine that has come through my own journey to motherhood. Embracing my role as a healer, educator, mentor, nurturer, and guide.

My background in women’s health physical therapy, yoga as medicine, clinical pilates, functional nutrition, energy medicine, birth story medicine, and sound healing are integrated into a holistic treatment approach tailored to meet each clients specific needs. My approach is trauma-informed and rooted in nervous system healing.

My Philosophy of Care

Pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum phase is a true rite of passage that not only brings into life a baby, but also births the emergence of the "mother". Unfortunately, we are experiencing a global maternal health crisis where parents are at a lack for continued care after babies arrival, increasing feelings of isolation. My goal as a provider is to help fill the gap in care during the postpartum phase through providing holistic and individualized care addressing mind, body, and spirit.

What You Can Expect On Your First Visit

During your discovery call we will dive into the goals and vision for your life, and the challenges you are facing that are keeping your from this vision. Together, we will explore the biggest barriers to you reaching your goals and address the "tip of the iceberg" when it comes to creating a roadmap to move forward in your healing journey. At the end of the session you will be invited to learn more about my services if you feel called to dive deeper into your healing with me.

My Inspiration

My journey to motherhood has truly informed the the work I do today in helping birthing bodies prepare for birth, recover postpartum, and become a resilient mother following challenging and traumatic birth &/or postpartum experiences. The birth of my first son brought with it a deep reckoning of self and the awakening of the shadow side of myself. Going through my own process of healing and transformation I was deeply inspired to embrace this gift as an act of service to others.
