About me
Originating in China about 5,000 years ago, acupuncture is the oldest, continuously practiced healing art in the world.
Nature’s tendency is to self-correct imbalances in Qi and maintain homeostasis. This allows us to recover from most illness or emotional hurt in due course. Symptoms that persist may indicate an imbalance on a deeper level.
Where you experience symptoms may bear little relation to the root of the imbalance. The acupuncture practitioner looks to treat both the root cause and the symptoms.
