I am a Registered Dental Hygienist that has received special training in Oral Myology. I provide Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT): a type of therapy that deals with the oral facial muscle patterns and is designed to help improve the quality of life by addressing problems or conditions relating to breathing, chewing and swallowing, anxiety, attention or focusing issues, TMJ disorders, headaches, mouth breathing, forward head posture, noxious oral habits, snoring, sleep apnea, and other sleep related concerns.
I welcome infants, children, teens, and adults as ideal patients into my practice. You may be a parent looking to help your infant or child through the importance growth and development stages as they struggle with negative oral habits, such as: mouth breathing, snoring, sucking on a thumb or finger, and even chewing or swallowing issues. Mothers that may be experiencing difficulties or discomfort with breastfeeding. Pre (before) and post follow-up exercises during the healing process after a frenum release or revision. Good candidates for OMT include individuals that suffer with TMJ pain, headaches, anxiety, attention or focusing issues, chewing and swallowing concerns, mouth breathing, forward head posture, snoring, and sleep issues or those who have been diagnosed with sleep apnea.

This is accomplished by providing quality Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy in a compassionate, professional, and interdisciplinary manner. It is my goal to correct the source of the problems my patients face, not just address the symptoms. I want to educate and increase the awareness of this therapy and build professional relationships through dedication and commitment in a combined effort to help improve the quality of life for those we serve.
