I had never experienced Rolfing before and Rachel gave me a demonstration. She did some bodywork specifically in the area of my glutes because I had been experiencing a deep ache there for several months that I think was related to marathon training earlier this year. The ache was worst when I was at rest, so sitting for long periods was painful, and getting comfortable for sleep was almost impossible. During the bodywork she applied pressure to that area and I felt a sudden release of the tension there. It has been a month since our session and the pain has not returned even though I spent several days hiking afterward and have started training for my next marathon. Rachel has made a Rolfing believer out of me!

About me

I am new to Colorado but technically a Native! My dad was in the Army and I was born here so it makes sense I was called back here later in life to open my practice. I never knew my sensitive soul would be put to good use in my eventual chosen profession... I thought I was just weird... turns out I am.. but in an awesome way!

My Philosophy of Care

I am became a wellness professional because all the modalities I used helped me so much on my own healing path I want to help others find their own healing. Sometimes all a person needs is a little guidance and support around their healing and amazing things happen!

What You Can Expect On Your First Visit

My clients have some fear around Rolfing being painful, however that is the old school way of Rolfing. My clients always say how surprised they are at how gentle and effective my touch is. They also really enjoy when I incorporate the iRest meditation into the Rolfing session if it is called for.

My Inspiration

Myofascial release or Rolfing is like Chiropractic work for your Ligaments, Tendons, and Fascia ( connective tissue) bringing the whole body into alignment and balance with gravity.
