Supporting women and families through pregnancy and immediately postpartum
I am a mom of 3 beauties and have given birth in a birthing center, military hospital and German hospital. My husband's military career has given me the ability to have diversity and knowledge to help moms in many different ways. As a homeschool mom I also have the flexibility to be the support you need.
Giving birth is one of the hardest things a woman can ever do and by having me there you can eliminate much undo stress and anxiety. I have dreamed of helping moms in this time of their life for many years and am now able to do this!
The experience of pregnancy and birth has evolved over the years, especially in today’s modern era. I believe that the need for caring, sensitive and knowledgeable support during this time is becoming more and more apparent. I see every pregnancy and birth as a miracle and as a certified Doula, I feel honored to be able to contribute my expertise to women and families in the Colorado Springs area.
After giving birth without my partner present and seeing women who fear birth I was given the desire and calling to support women and help ease any fears that may come up during this changing season in their life.
Sarah Loew did an amazing job being our doula as we welcomed our first child. We chose to do a natural unmedicated birth and I can honestly say, that would not have been possible without her by our side. She kept me calm, informed, and patiently instructed my husband and I through the whole process to make it as smooth and comfortable as possible. From the pregnancy to the birth, and even after, she has been here for us. Sarah has a strong passion and love for what she does, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula. ~Jenna Wise
The difference of having constant support during labor can make the world of a difference. Less risk for use of pitocin, epideral as well as cecarean birth.
A birth doula can also help you have a positive outcome overall.
