I promise to give you genuine personal attention and support you with an unwavering belief in your innate abilities and gifts
I love helping women and families confidently and consciously embrace their roles as creators and nurtures of Life! From an early age, I was naturally curious about the body, health and the world around us. I spent a lot of time reading about reproduction, human development, psychology, nutrition, spirituality, sociology, ecology and herbs.
Those interests still guide me in life and work. Whether we are talking about the childbearing years, menopause or just being a healthy human, there is a huge movement toward seeking more engagement in how we manage our health and how we create our lives. I have always loved digging deeper for answers and finding the most practical, uplifting and natural solutions to challenges. I strive for truly personalized care and lasting results.
In 1994, I received my Bachelor’s Degree from City University of New York. I completed my Montana Midwifery License requirements in 2002, became a Certified Professional Midwife in 2003 and then, in 2016, I became an Idaho Licensed Midwife in order to serve the Salmon area.
Because midwifery actually encompasses so many ways of supporting health and wellness, I have pursued additional education and certifications. I have advanced education and training in Perinatal Mood Disorders, Nutrition and Wellness Counseling, Pre and Perinatal Psychology Education, as well as Prenatal and Postpartum Exercise. I am also a Montana Licensed Massage Therapist with certifications in Zero Balancing and Perinatal Massage. I continue to learn and grow, and am always excited to explore new ways to help families thrive.
Please contact me if you’d like to explore how I can help you navigate the sea of information on pregnancy, early parenting and general health. I will lovingly lend you support so you can nurture yourself and your family according to what you hold most dear, not what someone else thinks is best for you.
