Health and Lifestyle
She is an advocate for creating a healthy lifestyle supported by identification of root cause and education-based preventive strategies that promote healthy habits surrounding sleep, nutrition, movement, connection, and play.
Shelly’s understanding of business and leadership was gained, in large part, through her participation in a 25-year marriage and partnership with a successful angel investor and entrepreneur. In the early ’90s, Shelly worked for her husband’s high tech start-up company, Scitec Corporation. Together they reached the success-disengagement substage readying it for exponential growth. After the successful sale of Scitec Corporation, they were financially free to create a new opportunity. They formed a small company to evaluate new business opportunities, assist in turnarounds, and provide funding for start-ups.
Competition and Performance
As a former competitor at the FEI level in Dressage, she loves to work with athletes to improve their performance, overcome challenges, develop routines, and regain the joy after setbacks and loss. Shelly has worked with Olympians, Professional Athletes, adult and youth amateur athletes, actors, and artists all over the world.
Why I became a Certified Life Coach
I know how it feels to be stuck, overwhelmed, continuously triggered, and in the dark about how to make a better life. At one point, there were more areas in my life, not working than those that did. As a result, I lived in a constant state of overwhelm and anxiety. I was suffering, and so was my family.
At the time, it appeared I had it all, and materialistically we did. In reality, I was insecure, defensive, and still grappling with my traumatic childhood. My digestive system wasn't working correctly, causing me to struggle with a loss of energy, discomfort, and additional weight. Worst of all, my relationships were failing, and I was beyond overwhelmed as a parent. Despite having everything I had ever dreams of and more, I was surviving, not thriving.
It wasn't that I didn't reach out for help. I did. I worked with many professional helpers, but their methods didn't provide me with a way to heal, grow, and transform. Fortunately, I discovered the Life Coaching Process. I was able to expand my understanding of myself and life, overcome my insecurities, face my fears, heal, and most importantly, improve my relationships.
Life Coaching changed me, and as a result, my life and relationships changed too. Every area in my life is more enriched because of the Life Coaching process. It was the most valuable investment in time, effort, energy, and money that I have ever made.
Through the Life Coaching process, I became the person I once needed most. Today, I get to pass on the Life Coaching process to others all around the world. I feel incredibly blessed to get to guide and witness others as they improve their life, health, relationships, and businesses.
"Shelly is a great life coach!! I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking support, clarity, and confidence in themselves and their life direction. She is a wonderfully warm person and has a great way of making you feel comfortable instantly, which is great for gaining quick and genuine support. She is also great at keeping you on track in sessions through asking powerful questions, providing educative perspectives, and promoting positivity and progress. When I came to Shelly, I was going through an enormous amount of change in my life, both personally and professionally, and really wanted help anchoring myself in the process. Thankfully, she had a great way of helping me regain the centeredness, acceptance, and clarity I needed to move forward.
