I was born and grew up in Russia, St.Petersburg. After preliminary studies, I was accepted into the prestigious I. I. Mechnikov State Medical Academy (SPSMA) in 1989. I received an M.D degree in 1995. In 1996 moved from Russia to Illinois. In 1998, I started working as a massage therapist, and in 2001 became NCBTMB (Nationally Board Certified Massage Therapist) and a member of AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association). From August 2001, I was employed by one of the most luxurious spas in America, "The Peninsula Spa," where I worked until November 2005. In early December 2005, I opened my own business, "Authentic Massage Therapy," in Beach Park, Illinois. From June 2010 till June 2014, I was traveling, worked, and studied in Russia, St.Petersburg, and Mexico, Puerto Vallarta. In April 2016, I was glad once again to open the doors of my company, "Authentic Massage Therapy LLC, " where I'm is the owner and practitioner. My business includes two offices and two employees.
I always love medicine and believed if you combine Western and Eastern medicine. Patients can benefit in their mental, physical, and spiritual planes faster and with better results. That is why I become a medical massage therapist. My knowledge and training over the years of practice allowed me to implement Easter methods/ treatments as acupressure/cupping/Reiki with Western methods/treatments as Kinesiology tapping, IASM, MET, TENS Units and lot more during my sessions with my clients for the best solution possible
Seeing people smile after therapy sessions makes my soul feel happy and filled with appreciation for my choice of profession.
Usually, after the first visit, my clients want to set more sessions and realizing how much they missed not having massage therapy in the regular schedules. Also, get very excited about improvement after the session.
