While attending Terri's Yoga class I realized that this was not just a stand prepared ahead of time class, but she was able to adjust the class to meet the needs of the students on that day. As a wellness coach, she demonstrated the same ability with me. At first I thought, oh I really do not need this or I do not know what we are going to talk about today. But she was always able to draw out of me what was troubling me and gently assist me in finding ways to deal with it. I was blessed to have her assistance in getting thru this initial stage of my grieving.
I've known Terri for 10+ years as my yoga teacher so when she started Well-Being Coaching, I was excited to sign-up to learn from her expertise. She's professional, knowledgeable, helpful, compassionate and a great listener. One of the things I've always appreciated about Terri is her ability to explain complex or confusing topics in a clear and accessible way. She takes abstract concepts related to wellness and contextualizes them in a way that makes sense for my situation. I generally try to follow a healthy lifestyle of vegetarian diet, yoga and meditation but I haven't always made the time to be consistent with my practice. In my work with Terri, I've been successful in committing to a daily mediation practice that has been a struggle for me in the past. I've noticed a significant improvement in my overall well being and stress management. Terri's Well-Being Coaching was the missing piece of the puzzle for me. She helped me understand that my resources not only include financial but also time and expertise which I needed to manage in a way that didn't always leave me with a deficit and feeling exhausted. By taking better care of myself, I'm a better caregiver for those who rely on me. I have a more positive outlook and my ability to navigate difficult situations has improved. About me

Hello, how are you today? How can I help you feel better? I specialize in one on one private yoga sessions. My personal goal is to understand your unique situation (e.g. bad back, cancer, sciatic nerve issues, stressed, etc.) and feelings. Then, based on the information you provided, I will guide you to the appropriate yoga and meditation modalities that best address your situation. At the end of your session, you will relief in your issue (i.e. pain, etc), feel peace and calmness. It is possible that you need several sessions to totally address the underlying root cause of the issue (i.e. back pain, anxiety and pain associated with cancer treatments, etc.)

Yoga is part of Integrative Medicine. As you will read in this website, there are different modalities of yoga (yin, restorative, yoga for back, yoga for holistic healing for cancer, etc.) and meditation to address various situations. Please feel free to contact me for a FREE 15-minute consult.

I meet the requirements set by Yoga Alliance (YA) and International Association of Yoga Therapist (IAYT). As of today, I have 1000+ hours of yoga classroom training ranging from breathing, yoga and meditation. After my 200 hours of yoga training, I was able to take more in-depth yoga courses that taught me how to use yoga to address specific issues like pain in the back, sciatic nerve, cancer, anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) etc. I have 20+ years of actual hands-on teaching students in gyms, health clubs and yoga studio. I started having private clients in 2007.
