I had the pleasure of working with Bill when I was at Wealth Preservation Group. Bill is a bright, competent, trustworthy and hard working professional. I highly recommend working with Bill.
I have known and worked with Bill for years as co-directors of the Conn. Council for Divorce Mediation. I have rarely met an individual in business with the competence and respectability that Bill delivers. If you want something done, you only ask once. Bill's expertise as a mediator and financial professional is of the higher caliber in the State of Conn. I would personally recommend Bill as your financial professional
In my work with Bill over the years I found him to be self motivated, organized and pro active. He is a leader, yet open to cooperative sharing of work and ideas. Bill is an asset to any team or venue in which he works.

Learn More About Rev. Bill Donaldson

About me

With twenty years of experience in the financial industry I have helped people through many life transitions, primarily divorce and also retirement, widowhood, and others. I have seen a lot of emotional pain around money and my strong desire to help clients through this pain led me to Money Coaching.

Money Coaching is not financial planning. It's a deep dive into one's hard-wired patterns and behaviors around money. It's developing specific strategies to transform negative patterns into empowering behaviors that ultimately lead to abundance and joy. It's an inner journey to discover your own power, who you really are, and discovery of your true purpose and path in life.

My own spiritual journey has shown me just how much all that we do is connected to our inner world - or the world of spirit. I have dedicated my practice to helping people at the deepest level of their being so that they can discover true peace of mind and happiness. I became an ordained Interfaith minister in June of 2021 to increase my capacity to help at this level.

I currently practice at a 60-acre retreat center in Newtown, CT where I partner with the natural beauty of the land to help facilitate one's healing.

My Philosophy of Care

My philosophy is based on the idea that we all create our lives from within, and our outer reality is a reflection of our inner state. In order to provide optimum healing and not just a band-aid "cure," we need to explore the depths of the inner world, discover the blocks, and create a strategy to move forward in a positive way.

What You Can Expect On Your First Visit

A thorough discussion that answers any questions about me and my practice, and provides a clear understanding of what the issue is to be addressed.

My Inspiration

I have always had a strong desire to help others. In high school I waned to become a police officer, and by age 20 that dream came true. I enjoyed a 15-year career in police work before moving into a financial advisory practice which led me to divorce mediation, money coaching, and now Interfaith ministry. Underlying all of these phases of life is the desire to help others and a compassion for all beings - human and non-human.
